6 week old very congested, especially at night. any ideas?

it's been a week since my now 6 week old has had problems with congestion. his nose is so stuffy and it's really bad at night. i had him to the doctor monday and he suggested the usual...humidifier, nasal bulb, saline drops. i've been using all of that stuff but it only provides very temporary relief at best. at night i keep him in an inclined position to help drain stuff from his head but even this doesn't seem to help. does anyone have any other tips i could try?
