Why is my nose burning when I blow my nose?

Get a Nettie pot and use it instead of the Afrin. It is a saline solution you wash the nostrils out with. All the burning is from the irritation caused by the blowing, and bacteria from the infection. Sucks, and feels miserable doesn't it? The nettie pot solution will burn at first, but then it will flush out the bacteria and you will feel a lot cleaner and fresher. Draining out the junk in the nostrils and sinuses will also pull up any junk dripping down your throat and making you cough. Do it a few times a day until the symptoms are gone. It's more natural and organic than all those meds.
