How should I do this?

I want to get a bachelors in Journalism and also photojournalism. I am just not sure what the best way to do both is. Should I go to a community college to get prereq out of the way? If so when I am done should I look into a 4 year school? I really can't afford to go to a university at this time and I am unable to get student loans without a co-signer. Anyone have any ideas on how to get money to pay for school? I looked into scholarships but I am too old (I am 24) and I looked into FSA but not going to be getting that much (about $550 for they year). I live in Denver Colorado and would like to stay close to home. Does anyone have any advice for me?
