A 27+ out perfect game?

So I'm just watching some sunday afternoon baseball and Armando Galarraga's on the mound. Everyone knows what happened with his 'imperfect game'. It got me wondering though, has their ever actually been a no hitter/ perfect game to go to extras and thus be a 27+ out hitless game? Or better yet has a pitcher ever recorded a no hitter only to have it broken up in extra innings?
