Is the temperature inside the surface of the earth decreasing.?
Due to high pressure inside the earth, the inside temperature is very high. But due to volcanic eruptions and earthquakes, lot of heat gets released to space from the surface. Due to this the inside temperature should decrease. But isnt the inside temperature a function of pressure... and the pressure is due to gravity of earth? Since the m of earth doesnt change... so will not the inside pressure and hence even the temperature should not change. Does it mean that it is gravity that creates energy. Does this violate the first law of thermodynamics. (if we take the example of jupiter... it radiates more energy to space than it receives from the sun.) If possible give your answer in detail. Thakyou !
