Next summer im thinking of training in muay thai kickboxing but..?

The closest muay thai kickboxing gym is about 1hr 40 minutes from where I live and im thinking of driving there 3 times a week during the summer not my school time. It is located in San Antonio, Texas and I live about 89 miles away. I want to fight in mma so bad I really don't care how far I have to travel.
