So how long before we have to engage in military action in Syria aswell as Libyia?

We were VERY wary of interfering in Libya after the fiasco of Iraq, so I doubt that the government would like to be seen interfeering in two unstable countries at the same time. Libya was also a different situation from Syria, as there have been tensions between Gadaffhi and other countries for years. For example, there was a lot of controversy about Gadaffhi's help in the Lockerby bombings, and he's always been seen as a threat to the American government. I think that Syria and Libya are an either or situation as far as the government's concerned, which is disapointing considering the terrible things that are going on in Syria.
