Should the Presidential primary system be reformed?

I'd support some reform, yes, but not the ones you suggest. I like the idea of letting a couple of small states start the process and winnow out the candidates who can't even appeal to such a small number of voters. The kind of reform I would prefer to see happen is that the largest states are forced to wait until the last round of primaries. Let all of the small states start the "primary season," during the first month, which ought to be in April or May, then the middle-size states vote during the next months, and the largest states have to wait until June or July.
